The projects below were built by the first four teams ever to enter High School Startup. We asked these students do build new things. We just had three rules:
- They needed to solve a problem that they had
- The problem needed to be something that at least 100 other people had
- It needed to be something that their team could build in 3 months
They delivered. They also did something they'd never done before. They learned and applied the most cutting edge startup methodologies, like Lean Startup. They interacted with customers. They learned to iterate quickly. They learned how to leanly build only what customers want. They taught themselves new engineering and programming skills to build their own products. As of this posting, three of the four teams have already launched and sold product. This wasn't an exercise. This was real. Congratulations to the teams.
