Our movie making for kids program is one of our most popular camps. Also called our “Film Production Camp,” this unique program offers students the chance to get real, hands-on experience with cutting edge film equipment. Here are a few other thing they’ll do in our camp:
- Learn the principles of good photography and videography, as well as how to employ those techniques in real-life scenarios
- Get training on how to use cameras, lights, microphones and other crucial pieces of equipment to deliver the best possible result
- Learn about the film business as a whole, as well as how to conduct market research, pitch to producers and more
- Develop a real video product, using state-of-the-art equipment and cameras.
At the end of the program, students get to screen their videos for potential producers (their parents), and try to get them to “invest” and jump on board with their project.
Overall, our film production camp is a fun, engaging and educational experience, and it’s a great option for any child who’s interested in the arts.
