With VentureLab’s kids summer day programs, your kids can learn to make apps all on their own. No longer will they be spending time typing, texting and playing. They’ll be building, learning, developing and preparing themselves for a successful future, both in academics and the professional world.
VentureLab offers a plethora of kids summer day programs that involve technology, entrepreneurship and plain old creativity. Here are just a few of the programs your child may enjoy:
- Gamer – In Gamer camp, students learn about video game design, and they’re taught a kid-friendly coding language that can help them create their very own game. They’re even allowed to take their code home, so they can continue tweaking it, editing it and even developing it in app form.
- High School, Girl and Youth Startup – In our startup programs, kids learn about entrepreneurship, and how to brainstorm ideas for products, services and companies. Apps are often at the heart of these ideas. Just take Estrella Hernandez, for example, who created her successful WeWalk iPhone app in one of our Girl Startups! Fresh Finds is another great app developed right here at VentureLab. The sky is the limit at our camps.
- Maker – Maker is a great camp for kids who love technology and gadgets. They can use state-of-the-art tools like 3D printers, and they’ll learn about entrepreneurship, idea development, pitching and more. If they want to create an app, they’ll also learn how to develop a business around that idea to make it successful.
