Summer break is the perfect opportunity for budding young social entrepreneurs to get ahead. With VentureLab’s summer camps and classes, your young entrepreneur can improve their entrepreneurial skills, get hands-on experience in the field and make connections that can give them a leg up for years to come.

Ages 5 to 7
There is a wide selection of camps for young elementary schoolers, such as the Girl Startup camp, which is offered Aug. 11-15. There’s also Youth Startup 101 (Aug. 4-8 and Aug. 18-22), Gamer Camp (July 7-11 and July 21-25) and Urban Farmer Camp (July 14-18).
Ages 8 to 10 and Ages 11 to 13
For older elementary school children and young tweens, there are also a plethora of summer camps to choose from. Check out the Girl Startup (Aug. 11-15), the Youth Startup (Aug. 4-8 or Aug. 18-22), the Gamer Camp (July 7-11 or July 21-25) or the Urban Farmer Camp (July 14-18).
Ages 14 to 19
Students aged 14 to 19 can attend the High School Startup 101 summer camp, which runs from July 28 to Aug. 15. Hosted at Trinity University, this three-week course gives students all the foundational skills and knowledge they’ll need to be successful young social entrepreneurs. They’ll learn to develop products, build prototypes, conduct competitive research and even deliver a pitch. Students will also be matched with a real-life entrepreneur and mentor to help guide them along the way.
